Founded in 2013 by it’s three executive management partners, Vasto Software’s ‘Vasto Educator’ platform evolved from a large Australian corporate training company and a leading financial services software development company with the goal of reducing the ever increasing administration and regulatory costs/resources needed to manage a diverse training organisation. With local and overseas investment and 8000+ hours of programming, ‘Vasto Educator’ was born. The core objective of Vasto is to provide a cloud based platform incorporating every conceiveable function currently required for both VET and Non-VET organisations including Training Management, Learning Management, E-Learning, E-commerce and regulatory needs.

Support & Maintanance

Due to the unique and complex requirements of Australia’s regulatory bodies for vocational training, Vasto’s Australian subscriber support team is managed by two ex RTO business operators / managers. Vasto’s core service principle is that ‘every subscriber is unique’. Each new subscriber is profiled to identify unique workflows, administration personnel responsibilities and areas/staff that require additional training to ensure the platform functionality is being maximised to increase efficiencies. For Vasto’s subscribers, day to day support requests are managed on a rotational basis to ensure that all support team members are exposed to the extensive range of unique workflows and industry sectors represented by its subscribers. Requests are categorised by importance and can be elevated to our development team almost immediately if the need arises.

Vasto provides industrial strength 2048-bit SSL data encryption at all levels of the system. Vasto operates entirely within Amazon Web Services infrastructure which physically stores your data within Australia in highly secure AWS data centres. Vasto has continuous monitoring mechanisms in place which notify key personnel when anything untoward is detected. Event logs track and retain data on all activity on the Vasto servers. We undertake periodic penetration and vulnerability testing as a business practice as well as continuous intelligent threat detection, logging, notification and protection, anomaly detection, and integrated threat intelligence to identify and prioritise potential threats.

Vasto employs external Training Industry Compliance, Financial Planning and Strategic Planning consultants as required to ensure its long term goals and the goals of its corporate clients can be met and exceeded in the changing landscape of cloud services.
